Now, who doesn’t love a little garage organization?? I have been working on getting my shop revamped for the last few months. I am slowly tackling every nook and cranny to make the most out of the space and use every inch 🙂 One of my latest projects to tackle was upgrading from the pegboard system I have been using as tool storage, to the Rubbermaid FastTrack system! Can we talk about how much I LOVE this system?? Check out how I set it up!
This is my wall of tools that don’t get used as often… Minus the radio! I love how I can hang my radio and it’s perfectly in reach all the time!
And the hanging baskets are perfect for holding my bagged tools and shop towels. I also keep my Clorox wipes in there for when I spill stain and paint… Which happens fairly often 😉
This system has been a lifesaver. No more stinkin’ silver pegboard hooks falling on the ground! Game changer. It was crazy easy to install too.
Everything runs on a rail system. Each rail is a silver metal piece that is covered by a black plastic piece that slides over it. The first step is attaching the silver rail to the wall. I found and marked the studs in my wall, and then used my impact driver to drill 2.5″ screws into the studs. A drill works perfectly for this part too! I used my level on this part as well to make sure each rail was straight.
After attaching the silver piece, you just slide on the black plastic piece right over it.
Then, each attachment just clicks onto the rail. SIMPLE. AWESOME.
And, the attachments easily slide on the rails making it super easy to customize. I love it. Check out the rest of the space!
Love how these little hooks hold my jigsaws and sander…
And remember my lumber storage rack I built? I was using the pegboard system on the back to hold my drills and other tools I use on nearly every project. Not anymore!
Ahhhhh it makes me so happy! You can find the system at lots of places like Home Depot, Target and online!

We will pick 5 winners this Friday to receive a FastTrack system!
We just purchased our first home and would love to organize our garage as right now it is the last space unpacked and unorganized.
I’d love to use it for the barn we just built to organize my husband’s tools and my crafting supplies!! I love to craft and build things but not being able to find my tools I need drives me crazy! Would love to have this so its all nice and organized!!
I would use it to organize all our tools in my new garage so that we can make *all the things* from your website (and ana-white)
We have one of these up and love it! It has chairs, shovels, extension cords, and tons more on it. We could use another for getting some bikes and strollers off the valuable floor space. 🙂
I’d definitely start with all my ryobi tools! After that my yard tools, the. A rack for my bikes! This system is so awesome!!
This would be great to organize our “junk room”. Tools are just laying around on the bench and making it very hard to work or find anything. This would be great. I might even let the husband sore ONE tool on it if he would like. The rest is MY space. 🙂
I’d love to use it for my gardening tools, shop sweeper and the other large tools that are currently just leaning against my garage wall That are driving me crazy!
OMG! I should show you a picture of my garage! It would scare anyone especially my husband (he’s in TX and we are NV, moving to TX soon!!). We have so many tools and random equipment that need organizing and my hubby is a organize freak…Me not so much, but this product would make life so much easier for both of US! We are buying our new home in TX and this would be the perfect system for our garage!
I love your organization! I also have a bunch of Ryobi tools that we use ALL the time that would be super nice to not have in a big bag all the time(and it looks super cute having them hang). We would probably hang up our rakes and shovels and other yard tool as you’ve shown!
I would organize my garage of course. I have everything on shelves and drawers that are in reach of the kiddos. No Bueno! I would love being able to find everything 🙂
I would use this to organize all of my husbands stuff in the garage!
Thanks to your website I have been inspired to build more of our furniture for our new house. I have started purchasing some tools for my own use, as my hubby’s tools are off limits. This will be great for me to keep organized and “show off” my new and growing collection of tools! Yeeeeiiii!
This RubberMaid system would improve my 34 year marriage! The garage is hubby’s treasured workspace and I have managed to clutter it up with my stuff. This system would help us work together to restore the ‘man-cave’ to a functional and efficient storage space, bringing us peace and harmony! Hope I win!!!
This would be perfect to sort my tools in my garage. It’s currently a huge mess!
wow, awesome giveaway! This would be perfect for our garage, its messy and crowded and needs organization. Love your site and have done more than 40+ projects from it! You girls are an inspiration to women and to me! 🙂
I would use it to organize the tools in our garage. Right now our weed eater lays on the floor and the rakes & shovels are on a shelf that hang from the ceiling. Not very safe and also a pain to get out and put back. Love your site btw 🙂
Just you like you guys, I would use it to organize tools in my garage! Right now they are on some shelving in bins, but I have been itching to find a sturdy way to hang them! Thanks for this opportunity to win 🙂
We just bought our very first house in August. I had no idea how many tools, yard supplies, chemicals and random things needed to be purchased. We would use the fast track to get everything off the floor in our new garage.
I lack a garage, so I store all of my tools in a spare bedroom…on the floor and in an old kitchen cabinet. I would finally be able to organize them in this room and make them easily accessible!
This would make my Storage Room the best place to keep my ever growing Tool Assortment!! Love IT!
