Garage Organization & GIVEAWAY!!

Now, who doesn’t love a little garage organization??  I have been working on getting my shop revamped for the last few months.  I am slowly tackling every nook and cranny to make the most out of the space and use every inch 🙂  One of my latest projects to tackle was upgrading from the pegboard system I have been using as tool storage, to the Rubbermaid FastTrack system!  Can we talk about how much I LOVE this system??  Check out how I set it up!

Rubbermaid Garage Organization

This is my wall of tools that don’t get used as often… Minus the radio!  I love how I can hang my radio and it’s perfectly in reach all the time!

Garage Storage Idea

And the hanging baskets are perfect for holding my bagged tools and shop towels.  I also keep my Clorox wipes in there for when I spill stain and paint… Which happens fairly often 😉

Garage Wall Storage

This system has been a lifesaver.  No more stinkin’ silver pegboard hooks falling on the ground!  Game changer.  It was crazy easy to install too.

Everything runs on a rail system.  Each rail is a silver metal piece that is covered by a black plastic piece that slides over it.  The first step is attaching the silver rail to the wall.  I found and marked the studs in my wall, and then used my impact driver to drill 2.5″ screws into the studs.  A drill works perfectly for this part too!  I used my level on this part as well to make sure each rail was straight.

After attaching the silver piece, you just slide on the black plastic piece right over it.

Installing Rubbermaid FastTrack

Then, each attachment just clicks onto the rail.  SIMPLE.  AWESOME.

And, the attachments easily slide on the rails making it super easy to customize.  I love it.  Check out the rest of the space!

Garage Tool Organization

Love how these little hooks hold my jigsaws and sander…

And remember my lumber storage rack I built?  I was using the pegboard system on the back to hold my drills and other tools I use on nearly every project.  Not anymore!

  2. I would use the Rubbermaid FastTrack system to organize our yard tools–rakes, hoe, shovel. They are haphazardly stored and make quite a mess!

  3. I would use it to organize the outside yard tools. I do need it for my Ryobi tools also. I love this easy to mount system!

  4. I just started my new business making signs and other items out of barn boards and pallets and I’m looking to expand into furniture like yours! I need some organization in my life!!

  5. I would use this in my new garage. We just moved a couple days ago and were just looking at this!

  6. I would organize the tools I already have and since they’re organized I’d convince my husband I need more tools to organize

  7. After 18 years of marriage to my husband, a mechanic, I have widdled out an area in our garage for a workbench to work on projects. I have been acquiring my own tools that, with the Rubbermaid FastTrack system, I could mount above that workbench and I’m sure make my husband jealous with how organized everything would be! But even better, my area would so much more efficient.

Thanks for the wonderful projects and giveaways.

  8. I would LOVE to use this system to better organize our tools to get them off the floor. Not only would it make it nice and tidy it would make it safer as well. Thanks for sponsoring!

  9. I just moved for my new house and the garage is my priority right now to be organize. These set will be amazing in the wall

  10. I would finally be able to get my tools off the floor of my Craft room !! And YES I said, MY TOOLS, not my husbands!!! And with this amazing system I think it would facilitate my husband to actually return MY tools (dare I say…) to their CORRECT home once he’s finished borrowing them!!!! The struggle is real people! I am currently hiding my brand new Ryobi airstrike nail gun (which by the way is AH-MAZING) that I got this year for my 28th birthday!!! I ask for tools for every birthday and major holiday from my family so I NEED NEED NEED this system so I can one day maybe be as bad ass as you 2 ladies are!!! Keep up the good work! Xoxo

  11. As a beginner at making these awesome projects you all have (have completed 3 tables so far), I can use somewhere to put my new sander, Brad Nailer, Kreg Jig, circular saw, speed squares and Drill Driver. How nice it would be to de-clutter my bench and be able to store all of my tools where they are easily accessible, but still out of the way! Thank you guys for all of your great projects and help for all of us lost newbies! (my wife would thank you too!) haha

  12. I would use the Rubbermaid FastTrack system to help clean my parents’ garage! It’s a mess right now, and my Dad splits his tools up with some in their basement and some in their garage. With this system, I’d hope to organize all of his tools strictly in their garage (and try and convince them into turning it into a workshop of sorts!). I would definitely love to win, and my parents would appreciate it as well!
