Hey friends!
Happy Monday! I hope you all had an awesome weekend! We had family in town for Mother’s Day, so I managed to chill and let them enjoy the kids (free babysitter 😉 )
I didn’t get much done, but I did manage to get one quick and easy project out of the way. I recently closed in a loft to create my daughter her own room, as many of you may know. I am LOVING this space. I have the perfect spot over her board and batten wall I shared to put her name on the wall. I knew I wanted to use wood letters that could be stained to match her shelf, and I wanted them to be big. I started looking around, and everything in the stores I found was MDF or too small. So… I started searching online and found a site called craftcuts.com. They had just what I was looking for… Check out these letters guys!
How cute are those?? I LOVE them!
My favorite thing about this site is that you can choose your font and size of the letters you want. Plus, they have different woods to choose from. The hardest part for me was picking what I wanted 🙂
I chose Clarendon Condensed font and chose 22″ for the height. I also chose Baltic Birch wood. I ordered them, and a few days later, they came in like this.
So yah… They basically did all the work 😉 I stained each of mine with Varathane stain in American Walnut. You can find this at Home Depot. We love it because it dries in under an hour, and only requires one coat… Woohoo!
After they dried, I was ready to hang them. I chose to use these 3M Command Picture Hanging strips for mine.
These are so legit. They make life very easy! You just fold two in half and stick them together like this…
Peel off one side and attach it to the back of the letter….
After pressing on that a bit, you just peel the other cover off, and press the letter to the wall. You want to hold it in place for a bit too. Easy peasy.
That’s it! It took me about 15 minutes to hang.
Here it is all finished up!
So fun! She loves them too… Just a great reminder to her that this is HER room that she doesn’t have to share for the first time in her life 🙂
Thanks so much for stopping by guys! I would LOVE for you to share and PIN this project below, and go check out craftcuts.com to order your own letters!
