Hey there!  I love a good summer BBQ, swim party or just hanging out on the patio with family and friends!  We bought a patio set about 2 years ago and between the hot, Texas sun and chlorine, our table and chairs were looking awful.  I couldn’t let them welcome in summer with faded, flat cushions and rusty metal….

I thought about purchasing a new one but, seeing as how this set was looking shabby after two years, it just wasn’t in the budget.  I could build one but I wanted to start enjoying and entertaining NOW;)

I set my sights on a good, old-fashioned revamp…with the help of a little “miracle in a can”!

Rust-Oleum Universal Metallic Paint and Primer in One.  I chose Oil Rubbed Bronze for my table and chairs and I love it!  I only needed 5 cans for my entire set and at $7 per can, I was only $35 out-of-pocket for a brand new looking patio set!

Before on the right, after on the left.  It only took me one coat!

Here she is after a fresh coat of spray paint!  With the money I saved, I was able to splurge on these super cute cushions!  I bought them online from walmart.com and had them delivered to my store with free shipping….SCORE!  *They are on sale for $16 each right now!!!*

Before the magic…

After:)

I am so ready for entertaining now!  I only spent $35 and about an hour spray painting my table and chairs and I was able to splurge on new cushions with the money I saved!  I plan on doing this every summer to freshen up our patio space!  If  you are looking for a patio set and don’t have one to revamp check craigslist.com or a garage sale for an old set!

If you love this revamp, I’d LOVE your pins;)

Happy summer!!!
