Hey guys! Hope you all had a great Wednesday 🙂
I have a fun project to share today!
I started with a 1×8 board from Lowe’s that I cut to about 2′ long. I used a different paint method on this board and I love how it turned out so I am going to share it with you in my next post. So for now… Here is my board after it is painted and ready to go.
I also purchased 3 hooks and a pipe clamp from Lowe’s. You can find the pipe clamps in the plumbing section. I bought the smallest 3″ clamp and it was under $2.
My next step was attaching them to my board. I used my drill to attach my hooks first.
Then it was time to attach the clamp. After attempting to drill a hole in the darn thing for 30 minutes I decided to hammer a hole in it instead. I just put a thick nail on one of the little openings and hit it hard with a hammer. Done. I then wished I would have tried that 30 minutes ago.
I used a 3/4″ wood screw to attach it to my board.
Finally, I added to picture hangers to the back of it and hung it up. Mine is on the wall leading just into the garage. I dropped a mason jar into the ring and added a few cotton blossom twigs I found at Michael’s.
I love it. It makes me happy when I look at it. 🙂
I’m thinking these would be super cute hand towel hooks for the bathroom. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by!
I will show you my new paint method in my next post so stay tuned. It’s super easy and distresses perfectly… Whoop!

Love this!!
This is a cute idea. Did you use fake flowers or do you have to keep replacing the flowers all the time. Maybe this would be a cute idea with a candle in the jar?

WOW! I love it! We are redecorating our bathroom and I have everything but a way to hang my towels. This is beautiful and amazing! Thank you so much! I can paint this to match the rest of my bathroom, its great! Thank you Thank you!
Oh, this is take-my-breath-away gorgeous! I just love it!!! I have a question, though, how do you keep it balanced? Did you have to put more than two hooks on the back?
Aloha and thanks for the inspiration!

LOVE this! I’ve got some old barn wood that I needed to find a project for. This will be perfect! So excited to give this a shot. Thanks so much! = )
Visiting from FJI. How beautiful! I would describe this as rustic Pottery Barn.
I don’t know what I would use this for, but I will use it for something….. because it’s too beautiful to pass up!! Oh my. I’m in love.
