Now, who doesn’t love a little garage organization??  I have been working on getting my shop revamped for the last few months.  I am slowly tackling every nook and cranny to make the most out of the space and use every inch 🙂  One of my latest projects to tackle was upgrading from the pegboard system I have been using as tool storage, to the Rubbermaid FastTrack system!  Can we talk about how much I LOVE this system??  Check out how I set it up!
This is my wall of tools that don’t get used as often… Minus the radio! Â I love how I can hang my radio and it’s perfectly in reach all the time!
And the hanging baskets are perfect for holding my bagged tools and shop towels.  I also keep my Clorox wipes in there for when I spill stain and paint… Which happens fairly often 😉
This system has been a lifesaver. Â No more stinkin’ silver pegboard hooks falling on the ground! Â Game changer. Â It was crazy easy to install too.
Everything runs on a rail system. Â Each rail is a silver metal piece that is covered by a black plastic piece that slides over it. Â The first step is attaching the silver rail to the wall. Â I found and marked the studs in my wall, and then used my impact driver to drill 2.5″ screws into the studs. Â A drill works perfectly for this part too! Â I used my level on this part as well to make sure each rail was straight.
After attaching the silver piece, you just slide on the black plastic piece right over it.
Then, each attachment just clicks onto the rail. Â SIMPLE. Â AWESOME.
And, the attachments easily slide on the rails making it super easy to customize. Â I love it. Â Check out the rest of the space!
Love how these little hooks hold my jigsaws and sander…
And remember my lumber storage rack I built?  I was using the pegboard system on the back to hold my drills and other tools I use on nearly every project.  Not anymore!
Ahhhhh it makes me so happy! Â You can find the system at lots of places like Home Depot, Target and online!
The best part?? Â I have teamed up with our friends at Rubbermaid to do a great giveaway for you guys! Â We are giving 5 lucky winners this FastTrack set!

I would definitely use this to organize our garage. We have lived for 16 years and still don’t have a good system set up, especially since I now use all my husbands tools.
We just moved into a new place in the 1st. Our old garage was very full of stuff and unorganized. Now we have a garage which is like a clean slate. I need to stake my claim with an organized area for my tools! ( did you hear that MY tools)! Yep hubby and my 3 awesome sons got me my own tools ( both power and hand ) for my birthday!! In so excited to have my very own for creating with instead of digging through their old grundgy stuff. I would sooo put the Rubber made system to great use immediately! Like I said, I need to stake out an area for my daughter and I to create in before the crazy guys in our house take over the garage! Crossing my fingers to be one if the lucky 5! Thanks again for all of the wonderful ideas and opportunities that you bring to all of us! Some of my fav creations have started with your posts!! God Bless! Kris
Oh to be organized!! It would be so awesome to know that everything has its place – no more hunting!!
We rent but plan on buying next year. Those would go perfectly in my new garage to store all the tools I’ve been buying since I found your site and started building my own furniture.
We have a plethora of garden tools that just seen to never be where they should. I would first hang these where always in sight and readily available!!
I would use it on my lumber organizer like you did – what a perfect place to keep all of my power tools organized!!
I would use in my garage. We bought a home roughly 4 months ago and cannot find anything because it still looks like we haven’t unpacked in the garage and basement 🙂 These would help a little… maybe even motivate to finish unpacking1
Cool system — it would be useful for my garage for sure!! I am in the middle of re-organize my garage & woodworking shop yet I am still an amateur, that’s okay. I will continue to practice and build all cool projects for my house. I know that organizing is very important, like 5s thing you may hear a lot at work! BTW, I enjoyed reading all your email newsletter. Thank you!
As a new builder I’m starting to acquire a lot of tools in my small, disorganized shed. I would LOVE the Rubbermaid FastTrack system to get organized and make the shed into my building space!
Love this system… Hard decision, garage or basement…. Workplaces in both areas! Hmmm… Guess I’ll have to decide if I win!
If I should happen to be one of the lucky winners I would give it to my hubby for him to organize all his power tools that are right now scattered on the floor of his workshop
I would use this to organize my garage of overflowing tools{couresy of my husband & now my own tool obsession}! As an ocd organizer this would be a dream come true!!! I love diy projects & an organized space!
Love this! Would definitely use this in my garage. We moved into our home a year ago and still can’t find an organization system we like. We’ve tried floor shelves, wall shelves, different types of hooks on the walls. This would be perfect!
I would totally use it in the garage. We moved in 5 months ago and it’s still in shambles!
I would give the Rubbermaid FastTrack system as a surprise to my awesome hubby for him to organize the garage to his liking! He is already super organized, but this would take it to a whole new level based on the great pics you shared! Thanks for this great give away…fingers crossed!
