It's been a long time since I've felt compelled to stage.. any part of my home, really. I'll be honest, the last year has been a tough one and in dealing with it all, I really neglected the areas of my life that I shine in. The current world we live in has really forced me to slow down and make time for the things I love. A few months back, I was scouring the internet for nightstands and after about a week of looking and not finding exactly what I wanted (within my budget) I said, "Screw it, I'll build my own." I always dive headfirst into these projects with so much enthusiasm, but as the days go by, I get caught up in work and you know.. life and these projects end up going unfinished. Now that we're all confined to our homes in the midst of a pandemic, what better time than to finish what I started.. Countless hours of cutting, sanding, staining, and more sanding these beauties came to life and I could not be more in love. They're far from perfect, but they reminded me what I'm capable of in a time when I needed it most.
