Shanty Memo Frame!

IMG_0099

Hey friends! My girls have been begging for a memo board ever since I made their brother’s memo board a few months back.  I love how easy his is to use, and also that it doesn’t leave thumbtacks or magnets laying around for the babies to snack on I altered theirs just a bit, and I love it! This was so simple to make!! I did it during naptime today! First, you will need an empty frame.  I have had mine sitting in the garage for years (literally), but you can also find them at Hobby Lobby, Michael’s or Joann’s {…Read More…}

$15 DIY Mirror

103

Hey there!  I just put together this mirror in about an hour and it only cost me $15! I love the simplicity to it!  Here’s how you can make your own:) I purchased this Mainstay door mirror from Wal-Mart for $5.  I had to do a little demolition on the cheap, plastic trim that was glued to it. I started by ripping off the paper backing. I then used a utility knife to cut the glue (it seemed to be close to a hot glue consistency).  Make sure that you cut where the glue and the trim meet. Now this is the part {…Read More…}

Hey there!  I am so happy to finally get around to my guest bathroom.  I haven’t done a thing to it since we moved in 3 years ago and it’s the one room we have the most visitors to! This is the before…. I don’t like the paint color, there is no natural light and it looks like the after-thought it was;) Here it is after the completed first phase of the makeover. I chose Dutch Boy Route 66-f14-3 in a satin finish for the walls.  (I was inspired by Whit’s living room walls   This bathroom is very small with zero natural {…Read More…}

DIY Julia Nightstand

IMG_0062

Hey friends! I’m so excited to share my next ‘Ana White‘ creation!  Many of you remember the beds she designed for my girls that I shared a few months back.  I wanted something girly with a lot of charm for their nightstands, and she delivered just that!  I love them!  Want to see?? Yah… How cute is that?? The best part… I had Lowe’s rip my boards from a 3/4″ sheet of MDF and I was able to make 2 tables for under $60!  Take that Pottery Barn ! You can get the full plans for these cuties over HERE {…Read More…}
